I found what I wanted right away and headed to the line only to find that those lines were just as long as the food line and moving just as slowly. I really like this place but next time I will go midday during the week and hope that it's not as busy. Furnish the entire patio with weather-resistant couches and loungers.
If you go early, right when it opens and know what you want parking is easy and the crowds are minimal. However if you find yourself going mid day on say a weekend expect to battle your way through the parking lot, then through crowds of families and screaming children as you navigate through the carefully orchestrated maze of coffee tables and cabinets. The staff is friendly and helpful but there isn't a lot of them, its a mostly self service business. That said despite all the hassles it is a great place to find stylish budget furniture that doesn't really exist anywhere else at this price point. From essentials, like mattresses and linens, to accent pieces, such as dressers or nightstands, IKEA features plenty of bedroom furniture deals.

Great ice cream, you can buy snacks, and even use their restrooms which are family oriented. Just this, kind of crowded for it is located in one of the most travel by commuters and locals from the area.

But if you can head out to the Emeryville - you should try that branch, its feels more spacious and has more parking.
